Do you mean the coding or the cabin control once coded (push HDC button twice)?

Not sure if it’s the same thing but
Multican 736/755 and 476 coding via G3 tool did nothing on a colleague’s P300 110

If you learn anything further please share it!

I tried to activate it but it did not work for me. I may have done it wrong though. I changed Terrain Control to Auto Terrain Control, but maybe more steps were required.

EDIT: 2024 Defender using the G4 Bluetooth.

Update — was able to make Auto Terrain Response work!

Which one do you all buy? Do we need the Pro one to do the activations? I’m confused by the descriptions.

I don’t want to buy the “regular” one to be disappointed.

The bluetooth/BT one. I guess it gets tied to one VIN and if you want to change (to use on another vehicle) you have to pay. But my G4 BT does everything.

The "Pro" version is intended for mechanics or those who maintain others vehicles. It's subscription based, pretty sure?

You just need the basic one, it can be licensed for multiple vehicles ("VIN locked") at $100 per added VIN. It is not subscription based, "one time purchase".

Which settings did you use?

I'd like to share them with my colleague so he can try again!

Thanks!

I wound up threading this needle - (got it working* on my own L663 even though I rarely venture far off road these days)

For some reason there is a fair amount of variation on Auto Terrain Response activation with differing resultant behaviours out there. My colleague wound up using some suggested changes he found on a sister forum and has Auto appear as a soft button at the end of the list of drive modes in the Pivi. His vehicle still defaults to comfort but now puts the comfort mode icon above the gear display in the dash.

My goal was to have "Auto" as default (no Icon above the gear indicator) mode and selectable with a long press of the fitted switch per the manual (Pivi is cluttered enough already)... I have no interest in Dynamic mode and had already enabled ATPC, ACC, and configurable TR. What follows are the changes I made... Tried to find the simplest set but may still have some unnecessary ones - (I was starting from a Terrain Response 1 vehicle with only a central locking diff).

EUCD 129 - changed to 'with auto TR" - this was required for me
MCan 696 - verify ATCM rotary 'fitted' and ATCM Auto TR mode switch "not fitted" - suggestions on these settings are highly variable YMMV
MCan 754 - Auto TR Prog "fitted" - this was required for me
MCan 778 - Ter Auto select FCPB "available shared purpose button" - this is what I was after function-wise
MCan 789 - Drive Mode "all terrain including Auto" - did not test toggling this since I haver it working the way I want

* Caveat - The vehicle indicates the modes and behaviours I am after but I have no way to actually test and verify whether the drive modes are doing what they should 🤷‍♂️
