I had a similar issue…took a couple of days before the auto start/stop “remember last setting” actually worked on my OCTA. I coded the seat belt warning out and it worked immediately.

Hi guys,

I think I found the fix for the honk to not honk on double lock:
Multican-742 Second Press Warning Chirp
Standard: Enabled
Change to: Disabled

I don't think it's got much to do with the OTA software update. Mine has been working just fine on my MY22 for a long time, with older software versions and new. The settings are all listed in post 1. Takes a few resets and a restart but it works.

Looks like the MY26 may have it as standard. Pictures of the release showed the park assist icon.

Regardless, it's definitely not something worth paying for. More gimmick than anything else really. Fun to activate and use nonetheless.

Hi guys , I have installed on my NAS Defender European smoked rear lights . The indicator light is red even though the tail lights are European version. I need the indicator lights to be amber. Do I need to modify certain CCF files or I just have to modify the wiring .

"NAS spec rear lights do not have a dedicated indicator circuit, the outer lights are red and come on with the brakes. The brake light doubles as the indicator." from another forum member

pretty sure it’s a hardware difference there. The indicators in orange have an orange LED.

probably not strictly legal here in USA but probably never an issue.

I’d just roll with it. Give you that euro vibe. Spark up a Galoises blue and stop bathing for a bit to give yourself that full immersive feel.

Well I finally got to using the tool on my Defender and I have to say that it very nearly caused me to sign up for anger management classes. Constant app lockups and connection drops - interference with Android Auto due to the GAP app turn on and off the bluetooth on my phone and causing AA to try and reconnect. Then there was the issues with my account and getting the activation to work. Backup not working. Somehow I've got two separate "tools" listed in my App that are the same name.... who the hell knows. I know I don't, and I design and develop software for a living.

I tried 3 activations. Only 1 actually worked - ACC. The remember Autostart/stop didn't work. And Dynamic Mode didn't work. I don't see it on my rotary menu when I press the drive mode button. I'll let the car shut down and restart a couple times but overall, I'm loathe to mess with it anymore since the app itself made me want to launch bricks through my own windshield.

Can't say that I'm altogether pleased with the cost of this purchase given the quality I've experienced thus far.

EDIT: After driving it around all day - Dynamic mode finally showed up. Clearly there is some kind of CCF cache that gets reset every few restarts.

Thanks for your reply ! But I have the Defender in Europe so amber indicators are mandatory. Thus my question is, besides the additional wiring for the indicator light , do I need to modify any of the CCF files with my GAP IID ?

Default Terrain response 2 -auto mode question

I successfully installed Auto mode TR2 using my GAP IID tool. Once it is enabled the instrument panel tells me it is shifted into Auto Terrain, but there is no icon displayed in the instrument panel after it is placed into Auto. Is this normal? When I am in any other mode an Icon appears and remains illuminated in the instrument panel and tells me what mode I am in.'

Yes. Normal

no icon in the panel for Auto. It’s blank.
