Yes! Dealer won't pay for that of course, just the hood, but I like that idea and it's in consideration.

That would be my option - if I had the opportunity to
choose. I love the contrast black!!

that being said, can you get the hood wrapped in a gloss black?

To follow up I left hood as is and they paid to install the anti-glare decal which I love. The blemishes are tough to see so I really didn’t want to repaint.

Why are you giving your two cents to a post that was a year old and that sought opinions and advice on an issue that required expedient response?

Whatever that needed to be done had already been done long time ago.

And then for a totally related reason, you advertised a moving company in your post.

Come on already!

Congrats on the new car, even though it's a bummer that it came with a blemish on the hood. I understand the perfectionist in you wanting everything to be perfect on a new car. As for using it as leverage for an accessory, it's worth a shot! The worst they can say is no, right? On another note, if you ever need to transport your car, I highly recommend checking out https://www.a1autotransport.com/truck-shipping/ . They have great reviews and are reliable. Hope everything worked out with the blemish and you're enjoying your new ride!
