The Green bastard

I’ve finally had a bit of free time to tear into my winch, found the relay to be fine( which is awesome! Not in production anymore 😢 but a stud from the motor and a buss bar were burnt up. Had it reassembled in an hour and back on the front of my truck ready to rock. Amazing how much easier to work when it’s not freezing out. Lol

Well it’s been a bit since I’ve given the green bastard any attention, I started a new job that keeps me away from home Monday till Friday, moved houses on the weekends, still trying to unpack😕. At least the new place has a large garage I can use as a shop. Well except my rover is too tall to fit inside. Lol
I’ve just worked out a price for my 4.6 rebuild parts from Cross axle, seems very decent to me. I’ll be ordering from them shortly. Next item I want to get before I finish the motor and install is long tube headers. Does anyone have any experience with these on a disco 2?
I see headman makes a set for right hand drive.
