It's the same proportioning valve. Land Rover specs a different MC between ABS and non-ABS, but I've not been able to determine any difference, and a number of people have been running the ABS MC after removing the pump so it appears to not be an issue.
This is how it needs to be re-plumbed.

The illustration makes it look like it's a different valve, but it's not. In the ABS plumbing one port on the valve is plugged.
This is how it needs to be re-plumbed.

Great information! I'm defiantly going to re-plumb the 96 now.
