The box is a brownish color up agaist the wheel well. Mine has two holes under the LR label, it's not the center hole but one a little offset from the center.. It has been probed before, by Land Rover dealer not me (210K + miles, so I'm sure it came on before with my wife). It will just pull out of a little slide bracket to get to easier. I still could not get my light off so I took the cover of the box and the contacts were all bent down, so I straightened them out and then touched them all together (three metal pins). The light went off then. Before that I just unplugged it and the Service Engine light went off, but I was courious why it would not go off poking a paper clip in there.

By any chance would this "Brownish Box" be a different color on a 94 Disco? I know I'll probably get a few jokes on this one but I seriously couldn't find after looking for about 5 minutes. I did however manage to fix the rear window issue with a little solder.

I don't know if it is different, but I had a tough time finding it as well. After undoing the right (passenger) kick panel, look up above the line of where the bottom of the glove box is. Mine was obscured by the wiring and other components tightly packed into the area. I had to feel around for the hole since there was no way, short of using a mirror, that I could see it. The hole was on the top of the box.

Here you go. Inside under the hole covered by the label are two metal prongs, short together fo a moment with a paper clip - or just un-plug.
