Amazing. Sort of amazed the self tapper held in the brittle plastic of the plug body without destroying/disintegrating the plug. Only 15 psi in there but that is some kinda fix. Well done!!!

Forked it and flexed it today to take some measurements. Just for reference that concrete block is 25" tall.

Installed my new lower front shock mounts and discovered a blown shock and a SHOT wheel bearing. Pulled the stock panhard in preperation for my custom adjustable bar and ordered parts for wheel bearings. Also put the rear shocks on the front and threw some 12" Bilstein 5150s on the rear. May be a little soft but I had them laying around and I was in a bind. We will see how it drives when I get the wheel bearings changed. Ought to have my HD CVs and axles soon as well so hopefully I can knock it all out in one shot.

Actually there was a lot of grinding of the teeth while tightening it. just knew it wasnt going to hold. We ran straight for camp and I am not sure how much longer it would have held. When i removed the threaded part from the radiator, it was pretty roached. The bolt and washer fix that came second was much better.

Thanks! Do you know any of the guys in the St Louis club? Great bunch of guys down there.

I also installed a couple always hot 12V receptacles.

Finally finished up my HD adjustable panhard bar. Just needs a few coats of paint. Probably a little overkill but oh well!

Awesome travel!!!!!!!
Excellent for the axle twisters on sandy trails.
Looking at the dislocating cone on the axle, I wondered if mine is installed wrongly on top?

Yours are correct. Ones that mount on the bottom are inverted cones. A large majority mount on the upper spring perch.

Painted the new panhard bar yesterday afternoon and installed it this afternoon. Centered my axle back up and adjusted my drag link. Steering wheel is actually straight for the first time in years! Now I just need my wheel bearings, diff bearings and Rovertracks front axles/CVs to get here and I'll be in business!
