Mine took longer cause I did all seals on trans while out also a good time to service the trans cause you can drain the converter and do the filter

There is no oil pan gasket its glue
They actually sell a cork oil pan gasket but most everybody just uses RTV silicone.

I went to pick up a new sectional couch and I realized how much I regret selling my pickup. I drove home like this on surface roads. Scary. I wound up having to call my father in law to help with the other 3 pieces.

Sorta Rover related. Ran new 240V from the breaker box to the front of my garage. It terminates at a 30Amp generator receptacle. I can backfeed my panel through it when the power goes out. I'm also making up an adapter whip to I can plug my welder into it.

You probably already know, but make sure when feeding from your generator that you turn off the main breaker coming in from the utility company. If your transformer turns 100,000 volt into 240v for your house, it will turn 240v into 100,000 going the other way. So if the lineman is out their working on it and he thinks everything is disconnected, you might supply him a good jolt.

Yep! Always good to point out though. I just kill the main breaker and watch when my neighbors power comes back. A few years ago we lost power for a week. I got by with extension cords. This new feed will be much nicer.

So I replaced the oil pan gasket with a cork one and that fixed a lot of the leak but it is still leaking a small amount from the rear main should be good for now though

Replaced a @&*#$% tail light/brake bulb, and tried to figure a fix for my cargo door pivot pin issue.

[sarcasm]Thanks, Rover, for making the simple things anything but routine. My life would be so much less interesting.[/sarcasm]

Cargo door pivot pin? The pin in the hinge?
Tap the pin out, ream the hinge holes with a drill bit, install a bolt and nylock nut.

speaking of cargo doors... mine squeaks around when i hit a bump. is there a stop or something i can adjust? normally it wouldn't bother me but it is the ONLY thing that makes noise in my truck.
