Today I finally got around to replacing the front set of heims for Poly bushes on my billy 7100's. My truck drives like a dream again and the best part is, no more annoying rattle that somehow was louder than the truck itself, who would've thought. Tomorrow I will attempt to swap the t-case...

I HAVE CRUISE CONTROL!!!!
For the first time in over 4 years I have a working cruise control in one of my Discos! This is quite the monumental achievement for me. I ended up replacing all the vacuum line and swapped in a D2 CC ECU as per Eric's instructions. Unfortunately it still didn't work. So I started pressing the switch in/out rapidly and the orange light started to come to life. If I held it just so it would stay lit. I set the CC and it held.
Just got done taking apart and cleaning the switch and I should be good to go for a long while.

Hmmmm. Seems like it would have a hard time reaching the contacts inside the housing. Plus it's $15 for a can. I cleaned the contacts with very fine sandpaper and bent them just a tad to more firmly make contact. Total time, less than 5 minutes.

I sprayed mine and through the gaps and pressed the button quickly a few times. stuff is magical, i usually use it for restoring old stereos/amps.

If I don't need to take stuff apart and deal with little springs and ball bearings (taking seat switches for example) I'm am all for spray and press. Magic is cool.
