Default Grill Mods/Rainy day project

Started raining this morning, so an inside project was needed. I wanted to open up the grill to get some more air flow so this is what I came up with. Still might add woven stainless steel wire mesh behind the grill to keep debris from getting into the condenser and radiator.

I have been looking for a way to open up the grill on my D2, and this looks promising. I had planned on cutting out the whole center and replacing with wire mesh like the Sahara grill. but this looks promising. I have extra wire mesh that i used to cover gutters (keeps leaves out) and 1 is just the right size to cover the whole grill area.

Was on my way to work, with intentions to replace all my wheel bearings, and noticed my front left making some scratching and clicking noises. Other side did the same thing before I repacked the bearings so I kept going. Then it locked up for a moment. I turned around and put it back in the garage. Looks like no hoist for this job

Order some parts from AB today to work on my front brakes. This will give me a chance to put my new Hub Socket to good use....

Default My Rover today...

Today, I climbed through the back doors to get in. Nothing, absolutely nothing will open either front door. Even manually operating the lever directly from behind the door card. I'm sure it can be fixed (a damned spring is my guess)....once I get the doors open. AAARRRGH!
