I haven't checked the spec, but I've heard a little more toe-out is better than a little more toe-in.
I've got to adjust mine here in the next week or so.

Thanks, I'll check it one of these days. I still think the play is in my steering box.

Having heads shaved, head gaskets replaced, new water pump, new valves, springs, battery, cables, pressure tested.

I did this spring upgrade because the truck was listing noticeably to the right after the last adventure. Looking under the truck, the right side spring appeared to have fewer coils than the left side. Figured that couldn’t be, but upon removal sure enough that spring was an inch shorter and two coils less than the left side. WTF? I know springs are sometimes handed, but they can’t be that different. One can only guess what occurred over the twenty year 174000 mile existence of this truck. Whatever, the new springs are in there now, gave a two inch lift on this bone stock Rover. The shocks that came off were Land Rover branded shocks and completely dead. Originals? Nothing would surprise me. I amazed the truck did so well on the recent Death Valley foray. Still leans a bit to the right, about an inch difference from the left. Rear springs may be part of that story, I will know shortly. If it still leans, I won't care.
The springs are handed. My '97 leaned on the passenger side before I replaced the original springs/shocks with an OME 2" lift kit. It continued to lean (though much less) after replacement. I added a spacer to the passenger rear spring, and that helped, though I can still tell the truck leans a bit. I'm over it.

Default Back half

Installed rear half of Tf201 spring & shock kit. Truck now sits level, about 2 inches higher. Took it for a drive, no apparent steering or driveline issues.

I tightened the top steering adjustment set screw on the steering box. This made a big improvement to my death wobble situation. There is still a little wobble at higher speeds, but I can easily maintain 65-70 mph without too much trouble. I probably turned the set screw in a quarter turn.....can I go more? Can I tightened it too much? BTW, it has never been adjusted. Still had some silicone in the allen/hex part of the set screw that I had to dig out to be able to get an allen wrench in it.
