Default Roof Rack Painted

I finally finished painting the roof rack that I made out of re-bar. The truck-bed liner will now be drying over the next couple of days. Tomorrow I will begin painting my D1. Thankfully, my uncle has allowed my to park my truck inside his Church's sanctuary to do the painting since the outside temperature is currently -19 F. I will post pictures of the process when it is done!

Replaced my o2 sensors. ****ty Bosch I stupidly used two years ago on the upstream kept throwing codes. Went with the ntk oem that I’ve come to see used so much here with forum members. Back when I had a torn up o2 harness plug on the drivers side I added a plug and play Honda spec extension, they fit our connections btw. I never did the passenger side but I sure wish I had. Probably left a pint of blood on the firewall. Always a pleasure....

Default Christmas Vacation

Well, this could be a large post since I just got off of Christmas Break in which I had ample time to do some work. I finally got to repaint my '99 D1! Here are the pics! The tan is rolled on Storm-proof exterior house paint and the black is truck bed liner. The Roof rack was welded by myself 2 days before a 14 hour drive west to be with the fam. The roof rack is also painted in the truck bed liner. I did my first oil change on it along with a refill of the break fluid and power steering fluid. I accidentally drained the transmission instead of emptying the oil on the first try so I had to go again. I got it right the second time. Ya live and ya learn, right? Why not learn on a $650 dream car. I'll post full life pics of it to show how I bought it, how I had it for a few weeks, and how it is now. It's a dream come true and altogether $30 in paint

They look like the same grow lights i use to keep my plants alive in the winter. If so, wow.
Edit: The blue shagon wagon may be the most ghetto Disco I have ever seen.

Just plugs this weekend. Good old champion 322 lawn mower copper. Gapped to .033. Running better than with Bosch platinum. Go figure.

Replaced burned out side marker lights, only to discover that the cargo door latch suddenly will only open with the key turned to the left while grabbing the latch handle. Latch no longer has much resistance.

It was only a matter of time, I know.

Sigh...

Set of latch springs ordered. Drivers' door likely needs the same fix soon, so I know what I'll be doing in a week or so.
