So what did you do to your Disco today?
that's possible, but it looks good in my '99 D1.... Got the rear cover (inside) in place and decided to start it up... battery tender was shut off (probably from power going off) and batt has about 11 volts, try again tomorrow after an overnight charge.
after an overnight on the battery tender, voltage was up to 12.9 volts it started right up and let it run for 10 min or so. sounded great!! even radio came on and played!!

Replaced the wipers with Bosch Focus, new air filter, greased the u-joints, changed the plugs (Champion RN11YC4), seasonal oil change (Rotella 5w40 + STP oil additive). The 5w40 vs 15w40 helps the oil pressure light turn off much more quickly in cold temps.
Also just hit 289,000 miles.

This is my new to me 1996 disco that I bought off the original owner who had it meticously maintained and owned it in California. It's got 126k miles and was bone stock and I doubt had ever been off the pavement. That's all about to change! I just put the 2" terra firma MD lift on it and a set of 265/75R16's on it and it looks right! I already did the bumper mod you guys talked about here with the stock bumper and I like it. Let me khow what you think and what you'd do next?

Yes now that is has gotten cold I notice it takes about 5-6 seconds for the oil pressure light go off (instead of 1-2 seconds when warm out) - I'm still running 15-40

It is in the area where the CC vacuum pump is supposed to be. That said, the color doesn't look right for a CC pump so I am lost.
FWIW, the manuals are available to download and use as you like in the google drive in my signature at the end of this post.
EDIT 2x.... OverRover suggests it is the SRS sensor
