Default 4.6 Crank, Rods, Cam, Harmonic Balancer Value

I can't seem to find any for sell, so I don't have a good reference for what mine are worth to sell. Does anybody have an approximate idea on the value?

Crank - Id say $600-$800

Rods w/ piston get about $65-80/each depending on shape

Camshaft - I sell new for $100

Harmonic Balancer - Atlantic British asks $509, I sell new Genuine for $410

Hope these help your frame of reference

$500 for the crank rods and piston have been the average going rate on the last few that sold on here iirc

Someone had a set up last month that didnt sell, so they are not exactly" hens teeth"

I've seen 4.6 crank, rods and pistons in the $350 to $500 range.

You are going to need to pull it first and make sure there is no scoring on the bearing surfaces of the crank. There will be a big cost difference between just polishing the crank and turning it on a lathe. In addition, even thought there is no scoring, sometimes the crank needs to be turned because it has a slight bend or bow to it.

Rods need to be straight and almost always they have to be re-sized by a machinist.

To be able to really price them correctly, they should be inspected by a machine shop. If you just pull them out you should be prepared to ask the low end pricing as the buyer doesn't know what they are getting until it is all checked out.
