Default bad battery causing ABS faults???

After researching on this site (thanks to all , by the way) I am wondering if my battery is the cause of the 3 amigos not clearing or resetting? I have noticed starter drag lately and chalked it up to being so cold. I have never had the 3 amigos stay like this. I am going to get a new battery today and see if that solves part or all of problem. Any thoughts???????????

Doubtful it is the battery. Temperature changes causing Three Amigos usually points to a faulty ABS module. If you can afford it replace the electronic half of the unit. If money is tight perform the work-around fix.

You have an ABS hard fault stored. It will not just reset or go away on it’s own. Once you get that scantool that can read the faults report back with what it tells you. Option B & possibly some new sensors might be all you need. Also P1590 will never clear until the actual LR specific faults are cleared first.

A duff battery or even a duff alternator will cause 3 Amigos and even the M&S faults. The SLABS, Trans ECU and even the engine ECU require the full voltage available to operate correctly.
