Can you see where it's leaking?
The shaft might vibrate, might chirp, and may not do it for too many revolutions until it snaps. At highway speed, it can thrash the transmission case and open a wound that requires another transmission. You might hear the chirp, or it may be drowned out by engine.
I heard a definitive chirp when my prop dried up. Only took two blocks before I shut it down and called the flatbed. It's a known design flaw w/ these props. Heed the warnings and have it rebuilt by a professional or purchase a reman. shaft from one of the many reputable vendors recommend here. Note: It's a royal PITA to rebuild if you decide to tackle it yourself. Some may say its easy, but speaking from experience (Bear in mind I am no stranger to a wrench) it was a bitch.
To answer your original question. Spray some engine degreaser on there and gently (no pressure washer, the o2 sensors will thank you) wash off the oil. Run it for a couple days and monitor for leaks. I would wager a guess and say rear main seal and timing cover. Possibly valve cover gaskets. The VC gaskets do have a tendency to work themselves loose. However, I believe it will take a funky 10 or 12 point socket to snug them back up.

"Sooner Than Already There" or, the Latin stuff...
