thats what i thought spike but why would it overheat the fluid is the mystery the truck runs at the right temp.the update is i added the lucas and it has not made much of a difference like i said though did not give me a problem until the truck was good and hot and it shifts beautifuly just when you put it in park and then back into reverse or drive thats when it will not go into gear for a couple secs

did you check the level after you filled it up and ran the engine till it was hot and checked it while it was running.

yes i did check fluid while hot and running in neutral as per the book also all fans are working proporly and truck is not running to hot
