Regardless, it does, as well as abs and all other LR codes and settings.
I have to have an obd2 that does everything on the D2 anyway, and the Nanocom can.
It hurt paying that much, but it's done now.
I posted instructions above.

For five days now I've had the Nanocom Evolution II that I paid 180 pounds ($230) and I'm really impressed with it. The BBS customer support section as been extremely helpful when I first tried upgrading from an extremely old firmware on my PC laptop via USB. I've already upgraded the firmware to the 2018 1.35 Beta version thanks to a fellow forum member (Cheers mate! ).

Even though I have the Disco 2 & Defender TD5 engine unlock code and not the Motronic V8 engine unlock code needed for my Disco, I was still able to:
- Program a spare key fob (plip) that I've had for 2 years. In the states I was quoted $80 to program to my Disco.
- Verified my EKA code was correct from when I originally changed it with my Foxwell NT510.
- "Enabled" the EKA option so the code can be used to access the Disco. I didn't know you could turn it on/off until today.
- A friend's Disco 2 V8 had the flashing M&S lights so I cleared the fault code and it's been good to go since Monday. He was previously quoted 340 pounds ($436) for the fault to install of a new ECU and "diagnostic test" of the electrical system. Jeez...
- Checked individual electrical systems (ignition, alarm, powered seats, cluster fault lights, powered windows, fog/head lights/side markers, windshield wiper motors and washers)

In five days, I easily paid off twice what I originally purchased the Evo for with the money I saved myself and my friend. Now I can buy the V8 unlock code! lol
All in all, it was well worth the money spent.

I would love to get one but 400+ US is close 600.00 CDN and that is just a bit too much. I will live with a Foxwell for now.

I’ve read that people on other forums pay in Euros to get a cheaper exchange rate.

So is the nanocom the cheapest option for one that will program key fobs?

Still turns into crazy money, but I keep an eye out for used units
