Julian, your threads are consistently becoming more and more combative... At some point, you have to look at how smoothly the rest of the forum is operating and wonder what is going so wrong with all of your threads. I was really interested early on in your build thread but it too devolved into you ignoring free, helpful advice and blaming your issues on outside sources.

Either rage against the machine or join it. Don't rage against the machine and then ask it for help.

Wow, this thread is taking off.

I just want to say that for at least the first 10 years of my Rover ownership, dating back to 1993, Rovers North was my first choice for parts. When I was restoring my Series III I spent so much money with Rovers North that I probably paid for a year of Mark's kids college education. Their customer service was always impeccable and the insight I got from people like Les, Arthur, Art and anyone else who's name escapes me know, was invaluable.

Did I ever, in the hundreds of parts I purchased from Rovers North, ever have a problem? Of course, I did and when I did, the guys went above and beyond to get me the part I needed. I remember needing a unique water pump for my grey market Range Rover. No one had the part. Arthur tracked down someone in either Wyoming or Montana that he knew would have the part. He contacted the person, not a business, on my behalf and secured the part. That's above and beyond customer service.

In my 20 years on these bulletin boards I have seen my share of whiny simps but I must confess, few rival the creator of this thread.

Is it possible and would it be appropriate for a forum administrator to close this thread? I think at this point it's unlikely anything constructive will be added.

Let me forewarn you, never go to discoweb.org if you think this thread is worthy of closure.

I've spent a good deal of time there. It's a shadow of its former self. A light gray shadow, at that.

I'm still trying to figure out the whole female goth clothing thing. I'm really hoping that's a joke. Lol.

Its no big deal, just a phase. If we are truthful all of us had a makeup case at some phase in our lives...
