I got the tear down done in about an hour yesterday. That was interesting and glad I did it. Whoever was in here last did a pretty bad job. The throttle body heater has been bypassed, the screw on the rear of the manifold was never put back in, the screws to secure the SAI brackets are missing and the coil pack was just laying on top of the engine back there. I'm going to replace my valve cover gaskets while im in here so ill see how that goes. Good thing is now I know some of the issues with this truck and can address them now.
I also found a CDL transfer case yesterday so that will be my next project after I get this engine sorted out.
Missing bracket bolts. Studs were removed already. Buy-passed throttle body heater. Coil pack was not secured laying on top of engine.
