Yeah, i'm not really worried about the amigos -- Gonna plug in my scan tool later today and see what pulls up. Option B will probably be happening today as well

Is there a way to toggle the 3 amigos on and off with option B, or any fix?
I wouldn't mind being able to turn the tc off playing in the woods.

its strange but I don’t think the three amigos actually have any effect on the trucks drivability. It’s just a short in the ecu thinking that they’re on. Option B just bybasses it. I did option B a couple months back and mine went away but the codes I had weren’t showing as amigos they were something completely different.

The reason im to believe this is because when my tc goes on now you can actually hear it working, but that might not be normal either hahaha. this is just a theory I’m sure someone on here actually knows.

But to answer your question I think it’s possible to turn it on/ off with a toggle switch you splice in between the wires. Dash lights drive me crazy. Ocd like that

Works been slow so I painted up a couple old cross bars and bolted up a free led light. Not sure how it’ll look. Or if I’ll like it. Lol

I think they look good. The color isn’t bad at all. And pretty much any color is better than grey/black cracked. Such an easy fixer upper for these old beasts. And you picked up a new skill along the way. Winning all around
