I've used oil on faded exterior black plastic for years.
Unless you drive on dirt roads, I've never had a problem with dust or dirt sticking, but even dirt road dust just wipes off, and the black still looks good.
As said, it takes a few rains to wash it out, then just reapply.
I'll try the scrubbing bubbles too.
As for the Pledge(I've been riding sportbikes 23+years), there is nothing better for cleaning bug guts off of plastic, metal, and headlights.
Spray on heavy, let soak for minute, wipe off 90% of the crud, spray and wipe again with little effort, polish to a shine and done.
Better than any bug and tar remover and even HondaPolish...and smells like lemons too, lol!

Not any other DOT. Not 3, not 4, not 3/4, not 5.1. Only DOT 5. It's the silicone based one.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that you were NOT to mix the silicon based stuff with the traditional stuff. Right?

To be clear, I have only used the scrubbing bubbles on the engine bay.

For outside trim I stick to the typical plastic/ rubber cleaners.

For bug, I use claybar

I'm not talking about using it as brake fluid. Use it to clean plastic and metal parts and have a nice finish afterwards.

My mistake, I missed that.

Feels good to take weight off for a change.. from the wrong end however

A good 40 pounds lighter!

If anyone wants to buy SlickRockFab quick disconnects or cross member spacers, pm me.

How does it ride on the street with the front sway bar off?
I'm thinking of removing my sway bar but still reading up on the pros and cons of removing front vs. rear for street driving.

Take the rear off for sure, I noticed zero difference

With the fronts off, yeah I mean its a little different, but you just have to adjust your driving style accordingly. I can easily take freeway exit ramps at or above the sign. I've been driving them disconnected for 6 months. There is a 6 page forum post about this over at Expedition portal

Stiffer springs will also reduce the sway.

I'm actually a little more concerned about off-road driving, as on my last outing I had a bit of a scare... felt like I was going to tip. But I think pros outweigh the cons, so off they go!

I have no front bar either. Really tight corners even at lower speeds you can feel the roll, but it's not bad. If I try to change lanes really fast, she'll wobble pretty scary like.
