I took those t-case shifter/brake shifter boots off too. I have a disco 1 (pretty much parts picker before off to the junkyard she goes) an those parts fit perfect and never wore out like our DII's, point is, you might be able to get some used ones off the junkyard before paying retail. Mine look just as good as the new ones. just a thought.

D1 boots wear out too, just doesn't seem to be as bad as DIIs. Ask me how I know

Retail is only $29 for the set, compared to around $190 from Land Rover.

Well ****, I haven't even thought of that... I used cleaner and an old toothbrush.

My D1 was 5 years old and I remember the torn leather being maybe half as bad as my D2.

For 30 bucks I'm super happy with it.

The bumper is stock and a stock LR Push bar. At least that's what I THINK it is.

Funny you mentioned the mean side of her. I'm currently designing a sticker for the rear side windows. I'm not done yet, but this is the gist of it.

That's awesome!! I have a 3/4 German shepherd and 1/4 grey wolf, I don't even lock my doors when he is with me since I'm the only one that can enter the vehicle with him

Had fun troubleshooting a broken brake lights switch: no brake lights, stuck in park, and fuse #25 was fine. Plugged in a new one and everything is fine again.

Found my power steering leak. That glow in the black light stuff is great. Turns out it wasn't my pump after all

Installed the ultraguage, flushed the coolant, topped of trans and transfer case, changed the front diff oil after noticing I have a leaking wheel seal on the left front. Probably would explain the cloudy diff oil.

How hard was this? I have basic hand tools and some mechanical ability. I'd love to lift my truck...
