They have Zerk fittings, but what's weird is that only 1 of the 2 tie rods has a zerk fitting. It's like that on both the drag and track. Any idea why only 1 tie rod end on each has a zerk? Shouldn't all 4?

Yes sir. Terrafiram steering rods. Drag and Track rods plus 4 new tie rod ends $250.

And you were right about Justin making things right. There hours say Monday-Friday so instead of calling I sent him an email and he has already responded and is sending me out a new tie rod end ASAP. Great guy. He seems as disgusted with the condition of the parts as me so I like that. That's the kind of people I like doing business with.

Is it okay to install everything for now, it's only the boot that is damaged?

I wouldn't install it yet. He may have to send the damaged part back to Terrafirma.

He told me I won't need to return anything and he will just send me the replacement part I need.
My understanding it that since only the boot was damaged then technically it should be okay and safe to install the rods now and just replace the rod end with the busted boot when it comes in the mail. Is that correct?

I think he's sending you just the tie rod end if you don't have to send anything back.

I think everyone is misunderstanding me. I am aware that he is sending me just a replacement tie rod end, that is not my question.

My question is- Is it okay to install the steering rods (since it is only a busted boot) until the replacement tie rod end gets here in a week or so?

I didn't think that a busted boot would be a safety issue or anything so I should be okay.

Ask Justin, my point was the part will become used and installed. He may need to send it back in the original condition you received it. But far as installing it, should be fine as long as it still has grease.
