Found out that a DII can carry 4 Kayaks with 58" Thule bars.

 

Rotating tires and had two cans of plastidip (black) sitting the garage, so my factory 16 inch wheels got a few coats, using index cards to keep it off the tires. It looks shockingly good and is completely reversible.

 

Sold my Safety Devices D1 rack and took my new/used Safety Devices D2 rack to get sand blasted and powder coated.

 

Got new tires 255/65/18 goodyear wrangler duratrac

Did absolutely nothing today. It's currently in the shop getting a valve job, 2 weeks after I purchased it.

 

Good news: My Wheels came today. 17x8" steelies.

Bad news: Took apart the front axle and started to strip the brackets off and I found that the diff was blown. The ring gear is eff'ed and I'm not sure if the inner gears are salvageable Even if they were, I'm too lazy to swap them out.

Good news because of the bad news: I ordered a front e-locked front 3rd to match my rear ... it added an extra 500$ to my axle swap, though, but it's bitter sweet because the truck will be also fully locked now. It shipped today.

I also bought some rocker switches for the front and rear lockers, and the compressor, the arb style ones, except in red.

I'm finally making some legit progress with piling up the parts for my axle swap. My tires should be here next week, also.

I installed the trailer brake light kit from AB on mine.

Tried to figure out a way to re-attach the third brake light on my wife's. That thing has been a pain. I've tried several different options and so far, nothing has worked... double sided tape, rear view mirror glue, gorilla glue, and 3M double sided tape. Can't get it to restock to the glass. Just retried the 3M tape again.
