Ok, admittedly not today, but over the weekend, new MD Terra Firma springs and shocks all around and a new winch bumper from Atlantic British. New Warn winch arrives from Amazon today, so that is next.

Did my version of the Saudi/Texas Grill. Also cut my front bumper to eliminate the fog lights and lower portion giving me a little more clearance up front. Next is welding up some brackets to attach some recovery hooks up front. Almost ready to go to a local clubs inspection for future club runs.

Today I got my Disco stuck twice at two separate customers' facilities. First one I was going out to replace a long range point-to-point wireless link that some pillock managed to back an excavator into. Managed to get unstuck myself, bit of digging with the old shovel, some 2x6 planks and 1st gear, low range and out she came. Second time I was towing a mobile point-to-point setup out for a customer when the bloody trailer's brakes malfunctioned and jammed shut in sugar sand, which I was already struggling with. Had to call for help with that one.

Before all that mucking about, I replaced both wing mirrors and the rear bumper trim on both sides. Nearly had time for the oil change, but not quite.

Default aesthetics..finished installing fixed up bits

I've been trying to neaten up my road truck. Lot's to do but I made some progress on the wheel surround and the back bumper. I know I need real steel but for the moment I have other bills.

The finish like everything else on the truck is good but not museum. I did everything in a spare hour here and there. i didn't really buy anything except the plastidip. It's still one bump away from shattering but the aluminum diamondplate helped.

oh yeah...i've been selectively coloring "champagne" colored parts, black. makes it more two tone and less "champagne-y"

All in all I used a lot of JB, truck bed liner. plastidip (surround), some silicon/acrylic.
