Those are the tires in my signature. 275/65/18. They fit with no lift but they were pretty tight. Mine has a 3" lift from TF

Wow, the tires I am putting on 255/70/18 are almost exactly the same as yours except for width. I'm leaning to the 255/70/18 because they are cheap and plentiful new Jeep JKU take offs. Name: 4504CBAB-9576-4BDE-A587-B21C11B68836_zps8rfx1rix.png

Default New g4 compass sticker

I just put this new compass g4 sticker on today on my Disco 2. Also took off my bumper cover and started to fix the cracks.

Yes. That is what I used. I did it when it was cold (high 30s) outside. The oil was way to viscous when it was that cold. I soaked the sprayer in hot water.

Got a call from my wife saying the rover was on fire.....turns out the rover blew a rad line.

Fun fact the line from napa, its walls are twice as thick as the line from the rover. I'm guessing since our rovers like to rin hot the lines don't last as long as they should.

I was bored at home so I decided to use the high/low gear stuff for the first time! Put it on N while slightly moving and changed it to low range. Didnt feel any difference. It feels like it is deiving the same on low range, neutral, high range! Time to read some more about that stuff :/
Edit: yesterday was my stupidity. After watching so many youtube videos i figured that i need to put it on low range + 1st gear! And dadaaaa 3-3.5k rpm while going less than 10mph!!
I cant believe how much trouble this $2k vehicle brought into my life on repairs and the amount of fun it has hidden as a reward!!!

Default Finally getting a CDL

Found a 2004 Trans Case for $100, and found a 2004 shifter at a junkyard for $50. Reused my gears from my trans case and took the nose off the 04. Happy to say, the install in not all that difficult!

Also, for those of you looking for a better option for your exhaust manifold to Y-Pipe gaskets and studs, I was able to find the same studs at Ace Hardware for $2, and the gaskets at Land Rover for $8!
