I should have posted the before and after before, as it seems like what I wrote was confusing. This is the before.

and this is the after

I didn't like the A frame on its own without the light guards, and since I couldn't find a way to add them to the a frame I had, i wanted to take it off.
I plan on ordering a Kingsborne wireset and will swap out plugs and wires when the wires arrive.

Ordered switches and trim panel for heated seats from a guy parting out, added them in under 10 minutes. Huge difference for going to the gym early in the AM.

Headed out to figure out what's causing the new whining sounds that started last night, then changing over to a 180* t-stat and probably replacing the water pump (again!).

On my 1999, I put the fuel injectors and upper intake back on after having them off to look for an intake leak (and I sent the injectors out to be cleaned and new o-rings supplied).

Now I need to replace the exhaust flange gaskets at the manifolds, if I can get access to the lift. If not, I guess it's next week.

Did the induction and gas tank seafoam "how to". Got a bunch of smoke, it take off a little quicker. She was never a sports car but it seems to feel smoother. I might just do it again in a week or so. I'll see if over another day or so it gets better with the gas treatment. We'll see what happens.

I put exhaust flange gaskets on only to notice that it's actually a weld on the back of the cat that is leaking.

I opened up the center console to add my D1 shifter for CDL, to discover no nipple, so had to get the CDL ordered. Note, 08/00 build date on my '01 D2, and thought I had checked this some time ago. I must of gone purely on the build date in making that decision in my mind at that time. It has been some time since I looked at it, and finally got time to tackle this. Now, I put it back together using sheet metal screws to reinstall the center plate to cover the transmission tunnel, and will wait on some parts and do a little more research for a little bigger job to get CDL than just the shifter.

I drove up to the top of peak 10 in Breckenridge, CO. Then drove over to hike Continental Falls. Nothing like parking your Rover at 13400 feet to enjoy the view of the changing aspens.
