It’s been a few years since I’ve done organized off-roading, what’s everybody using for communication? Still cb’s or the gmrs? Or?

I run CB as do a couple other guys I know. Honestly I know several, though, who don't have anything. Not very heavy off roaders or overland though.

CB is a pretty safe bet, especially for the cost of entry (low... My setup coated me less than $50 thanks to finding a $3 radio at the flea market. That includes the 8' whip antenna which is an upgrade)

I carry some motorola 2 way radios, and I normally have a CB as well and use channel #4.

In other news, finally got the bolt extractor to get that last head bolt out. NFG. Stripped the bolt extractor right out.

Unfortunately looks like she's getting torched. Oh well. Been looking for an excuse to get an acetylene setup.

I feel your pain... I broke a bolt off in the transmission governor housing last week. Spent 6 hours trying to extract it... no luck. Luckily found a used governor at an affordable price

Started to tear into my buddy’s truck last night. Had a little helper.

Found out today that both of my OG bottle jacks no longer work. Glad to not find that out the hard way.
