Hopefully there was video surveillance, and the perpetrator will be caught and Dave the consequences!

Default I've been neglecting my progression

Bottom pic is the bumper I put on a few months ago and installed lights and a new cable winch. Found a decent deal in the ARB Deluxe on a wrecked D2 fairly local. Decided to upgrade to the ARB and got a Smittybilt X20 10K synthetic winch.
Also picked up a steel rear bumper and a Tactical Rovers swing tire carrier. I'll be working on that this weekend.

Default Atlantic British rear bumper and Tactical Rovers swing carrier

Finally got to install my AB rear bumper that way I could mount my TR swing tire carrier. First issue was the AB fitment was rubbish!
The corners were against the body and way to high. They were up into the area where the plastic corner trim pieces were. Thought maybe I could bend it, but that was a no go. I had to cut the corners off and re-fab to get the fitment straight. Once I got the bumper corners done I figured I was good to go, but the entire bumper flexes way to much, especially now that I'll be mounting the swing carrier. Had to modify the TR carrier mount to fit the AB bumper as I figured. Had to extend the heim joint support since there's no way to mount the carrier as close as they do on the TR rear bumper as intended. All in all it's working well, but I will be making supports from the inner bumper to the frame to prevent flexing. The used TR carrier I got was hacked up and I had to make new parts for it.
Here's a album if you're interested.

Rubbish fitment!

Much better now!

I’m fairly certain that AB doesn’t make that bumper. I think they just sell it and it’s made by Brit part.

Added lift kit to trailer, checking ride height behind rover.

Though I admire your dedication in getting the job done, personally I would have returned the bumper. That being said, looks pretty cool all around.

Purchased a 2004 Discovery with 99,400 miles for only $1500 now I just need to sort out the engine. I still think I got an amazing deal.
