Yes. The tires are realy stiff, but that lip on inside of rim.....I used a lot of lubrication, and it was a bear....like 95 psi before seating....
I had Michelins on it before and they were way easier.
But I really like how they turned out.
Good to hear about them wearing normaly.

Nice and shiny. Did you get it at parts store?

Replaced the spark plugs on my D2 yesterday. Not to be too biased, but I had to get someone else to observe a slightly quicker start-up with Bosch Platinum. The plugs were relatively clean at the spark end, but some of the connections where the ignition wires were, showed signs of either corrosion or dirt build-up. Now I need to change those dreaded ignition wires.

Installed heavy duty drag link and tie-rod bar from Rovers North this evening. No drama, easy off, easy on, align toe, test drove, adjust drag link to get steering wheel straight again, another test drive and stuck a fork in it.

Changed all 4 O2 sensors again. From Tomco to Bosch (Tomco's are throwing 1171 and 1174 error codes). Second time was WAY faster and easier compared to the first time. Next up is the radiator. I'm not mechanically inclined (too detail oriented for my own good) but I do like a challange and want to see how far I've come along.

My MPG jumped up a bit, just finished a 400 mile trip,.. Right before the trip during my routine check I was poking around under the hood and noticed the plastic fitting which is hooked to the back hose on the passenger side of the throttle body was loosely sitting in the hole, not even finger tight. I was able to tighten it up with between 1/2 and one turn of the plastic fitting. This is the hose that goes to the valve cover/oil separator. See picture lifted from other thread...

I ask on the other thread but got no answers. What is the consequence of this being loose? I think the engine runs smoother and quieter, seems to have quieted the last tick I had which only happened until it was up to temperature then it went away. Is that possible? Would it have been letting in un-metered air or would it have been a vacuum leak?

I don't think its my overly optimistic imagination... Thanks!

Not the hose with the red fitting, the one left of it toward the firewall.
