Oil and filter change, plus driveshaft lube. Went with full-syn Rotella T6 for the first time, 5W40. I'm curious to see whether or not the Rotella will help quiet the minor valve train ticking over the next several months.

I also chased a battery drain problem. With all systems off it was still drawing a little over 1 amp. I pulled the fuses one at a time while monitoring the meter but found no smoking gun. If the truck is driven daily it's fine, but if it sits 36 hours or so the battery is fully dead. I'm surprised a single amp draw can drain a 6-month old 800 CCA battery in such a short amount of time.

My little tick got louder after switching to Rotella.

Just some random bull out at the lake. Mostly just testing out the new GoPro camera and the wifi app for it. Make sure to watch in HD if you do.

Epic.

I hope to gather enough footage someday to allow me to put together something with a bit more variety. I only had maybe 20 minutes of footage to work with there. lol

I'm proud to report my that 2 weeks after averaging 14.2 MPG (on a quarter tank) in city driving, I have averaged 13.5 on a 19.3 gallon fill up!

I believe the green-freaks call that "hyper-mileing"!

Stripped the rusty portions off of the HD Rear bumper, inside and out, resprayed with bed liner, then mounted it back on the Rover, replacing the old hardware with fresh new stainless steel! Freshened up the wiring for the tail light turn signals as well.

Grabbed 3 of these bad boys out of the trash behind the local Land Rover dealership. They were renovating and just threw them out.

I envision a whole series of "travel" photos with those signs showing up around the island, on the beach with surf boards, etc.
