Flushed heater core so I now have heat.

Installed 180 tstat. More tedious than expected but it's done.

New rotors pads all around and flushed brake fluid.

Previous owner claimed new brakes front and rear. Here is what was in and on the truck. Smh

I did my brakes this summer, using ceramic pads and high carbon rotors all around. Braking just as good if not better. The increase cost about $100 over the regular stuff. Should last longer.

Pulled the engine from the parts truck to swap into what will become my wife's Disco.

It can be done!

Yeah, I am so jealous right now, and a saab in there. You could fit a sand blaster, and all sorts of cool stuff. And don't get me started on the storage.

Talking Motor

Finished installing the donor motor last night and fired it up. No ticking, no water leak and 195 on the temp. This has been an incredibly long and expensive project but at least it appears to be finally finished. I got a donor motor with 85K on it from a recycler in Tennessee and only used the block as mine had SAI, so I used my heads. I now have a massive amount of spare motor parts

I bought this place last year - it's an old farmhouse that's been built onto at least 5 times. The garage is 1200 square feet. The home we moved from, the main living space was equal to the space in the garage. Only downside is there is no insulation in the walls and no heat.

A $100 electric heater from Home Depot or Lowes, set on something 3'-4' off the floor will warm it up dramatically...really.

And those look like Ferrari wheels, lol
