Made some minor repairs today on old gray, but ones that drive you nutty. Replaced lights in heater control unit and clock. Replaced radio, old one had horrible static on FM (but none on AM...so swapped it out with my old 01...like new again...tunes or talk radio! Repaired ash trays, now both open with ease.

My factory fob is flaking too. Remote start and keyless entry sounds cool. I guess I dont need an alarm. You feeling good with this mod? Think I should I go for the same unit?

Well been trying to get the exhaust off from a 04 to put on my 02 and it has proved to be more than difficult. More than a few metal cutting blades to cut the rust bolts. Yes "rust bolts" because they have seriously become one lump of rust and seemingly indestructible. Going to try again tomorrow. Loving it though finally getting out from behind the desk.

Emptied the truck after a break-in, while waiting for the glass guy to fix my window. Hasn't been this light in years.. gained 2 inches of lift haha.

I'm happy so far. It's doing everything I want it to. No regrets. You probably won't have this problem in San Juan, but I've gotten in from some pretty late flights over the past couple of weeks to a pretty good dusting of new snow. Once the plane is in the hangar, I walk into the office and hit the start button. And by the time the coffee pots are dumped and paperwork is finished, I'm hopping into a warm car and happily blasting through a few inches of fresh snow on the roads. I also like just hitting the unlock button once and not having to worry about accidentally setting my superlock function and having a lock actuator fail in that position. It does apparently happen to people every now and then.

If I was a little more knowledgeable about the arm/disarm trigger I might be inclined to try interfacing with the factory alarm. But it just isn't very important to me. My driveway is gated and I don't really leave anything valuable in the car. Car alarms are really only good for maybe deterring a car thief, but they don't want a Disco, they've got enough problems as-is. Around downtown in any metro area, car alarms are pretty uneventful. I never hear one and think, "oh man, someone's car is being broken into. I should call the police" I think "What dumbass set off their car alarm this time? Make it stop"

I finally installed the TF rear shocks, rotated both rear tires and flushed the power steering fluid.
Replacing the rear shocks was mad easy. I didn’t have to jack up anything.

Installed a new "Atlantic British" front bumper.
Mounted my winch.
Bleed and filled the coolant.
