Front and rear differential oil change and some new, shiny, jewelry looking bits for the diffs.

Not exactly work to the D2 but picked up a little work trailer for house work and eventually a camping trailer. Ordered hub adapters so I can throw a pair of my old alloy wheels with 31s on it to hopefully level it out some. I’d really like to avoid buying a bigger drop hitch...but a quick re-wire and a little sanding a fresh coat of paint it should look a lot better.

A 70's/80's Toyota bed that hasn't completely vaporized from rust!
That's worth more than the D2, lol!

haha yea it's pretty solid, going to sand it down a little bit, one of the rockers might not be so great but I can either fix it or live with it. The disco isn't any good for sheets of plywood or drywall and I really don't have time for a truck (would be vehicle number5....) so little trailer it is. Way more solid than a harbor freight special plus as soon as I get through this house I'm working on I can work on making this more of an off-road camping trailer.

Working on some various mods this week.

added some recovery points up front from AB.

Working on adding a top to my home brew roof rack. Mocked up some 1x6s, drilled and countersunk bolt holes, then stained the wood. I’ll water seal the wood today then hopefully get the rack back on by the weekend. Need to add some gussets to the brackets before it’s complete keyed though. That way if I wanna get up there I can.

Also working on a rear brake hard line replacement to replace the fox hose. Ripping out and redoing the headliner, O2 sensor replacements and lastly, spark plugs and wires. Trying to get ready for a trip with the family.

Im off until June 1st so I figured I’d do some stuff.
