went on what used to be an "easy" trail on a night run last night in the white d2 and two buddies with RRCs. Had a fantastic time but the trail since last year has been absolutely trashed and dug out big time. Nicely surprise for our group but it's no longer a good first trail or beginner/stock vehicle trail, which is kind of a bummer. I'm quite happy my wife decided to ride with me and not drive the green d2 as with no CDL and stock bumpers with the sway bars still connected I'm not so sure we would have had such an easy time. Don't have any photos unfortunately.

on a more fun note...the wife got took her disco out to moab on a girls trip and got it out off pavement for the first time and it did great! I was able to get the hood painted before she left but ran out of time for the driver side doors and roof...sometime this winter I’ll get those done. For a budget truck it’s coming together extremely well!!

I used the Nanocom today and found a P1668 fault on the ECU for "Anti-Theft Alarm Serial Link Fault Drive Cycle A Occurred 1 time. Signal Too High."
From searching online P1668 is usually associated with a non starting V8 but mine started fine. I cleared the code and it's still starting and running fine. Weird...

Oh if you have an epsom green disco pull the flares, you won't be disappointed! Annoying to remove the old residue but 3M Stripe remover wheel that goes in a drill works wonders.

In a solemn recognition that we probably won't get out and camp anymore this year, my son and I removed the rooftop tent from the Disco. <sigh>

A quick update on the led lights i replaced the hella 500s with the other day. They are very bright would make a good trail light but not focused enough for a road driving light.

i did the same. Except I did 2 layers of insulation.

your headliner looks badass!
