Started pulling off my windshield / windscreen top finisher (DCB101510) before realizing there's probably no way it's coming out without taking the glass out. Anyone have tips on this?

Goal is to pull this out, grind out some rust developing near the edge, spray it and put the new finisher trim in.

Default Enjoyed my Disco and 8+ inches of snow!

When everyone else was either stuck at home, or slipping/sliding in their "AWD" crossovers, I was tooling around with a big smile on my face. My neighbor who was trudging out to his drive trying to begin shoveling out asked why I was driving in all this, I replied "Because I can!"

Definitely need to do this but I think I'm going to install the heated windshield instead since my AC isn't working.

Well today I replaced the MAF only to find out that wasn't the issue... turns out there seems to be more wiring damage from when one of the O2 sensor wire retention clips broke and the wires got caught in the driveshaft. With that said... thanks to this forum I was able to find someone who had the same issues as myself and get pointed in the right direction to getting my issues sorted out.

I know all that brittle plastic trim would not fare well in one of those. I stay away.

On mine, the water poured in past the tail door upper seal going through the drive through. I adjusted the door to fit tighter and it seems to be okay now.
