Good looking tires, looks like they were gobbling up the snow.

I'm probably being paranoid but compared to the OE D2 wheel nuts the Eisen nuts have a significantly smaller shoulder so I'm just going to remove my chrome caps and return the Eisen nuts.

After much searching I found these steel wheel lug nuts: LRC2439

I dont think you're being paranoid. I see what you mean by the thinner shoulder. It doesn't bother me, as I think it would require some pretty unfathomable (possibly otherworldly and nearly impossible) pressure to strip the shoulder off 5 bolts, allowing the wheel to slide off. I'll post here if they do break. Meanwhile, those nuts you found look good too. And they have black.

Besides I did my 30k miles service: diffs, TC, transmission fluid changes.

I didn't have a plan for the big metal washers. The exposed side had quite the "patina." Got lucky as the underside still had a nice coat of black paint. If I wasn't already in the job, I'd go with the stainless washers, for sure.

Did either of you guys do the D1 wipers conversion also?

I did not.
Bumped this older thread and didn't get a big response either way. I think mine are going to be okay as-is.

When I took my D2 for its first VA state safety inspection last week, I got bounced for bad wipers. Stupid me forgot to install the newly-purchased blades.

My ext temp is in C and Im pretty sure it goes below -20. I think-18 is about 0F. I could have confirmed yesterday but it’s warmed up to 16C this morning. My P38 read -24C yesterday but It’s not the same vehicle.

Replaced all interior, and rear lights, with Sylvania Zevo LED bulbs.
Turn signal and fog lights were 1156 Amber. Note, Amazon says these do not fit but they do. Turn signal does require a load equalizer. I used the Sylvania one.
Brake lights were 1156 Red, and backup 1156 white.

Finished the windshield cowl. Even replaced the side gutter thingies and the pop in screws.

Buttoned up the refresh on the rear.
New door handle gasket. License plate bracket. LED license plate lights. Mounted the new spare setup. 245/75. Clears the bumper by maybe an 1/8"

Noticed my left side brake/driving light is burned out.

Reattached the hood and applied the blackout vinyl.

Wasn't thrilled with the vinyl. Neither my work nor the product. Bought it from Lucky8. The shape isn't precisely correct. It's too wide at the aft end to allow it to fit all the way forward. And, really, there's zero reason to not have the template cut to fit the trailing edge of the hood. Nobody is going to wrap it under, unless they're a pro.. My trim cut sucked. Such a bummer.
