It was sold new in Aurora, CO but the port of entry was Oxnard, CA, unsure if that would affect it. How can I tell from a VIN decoder?

Finally got to look at the new-to-me 01 I just got. Last titled in Arizona which for my rust belt soul, was a welcome surprise!
Im pleased and surprised so far at the lack of mechanical issues I've found, but plan is to drive it and see how it runs. Drive it 50 miles home from previous owner and rode very nice.
There are lots of sketchy electrical situations haha. Headlights look to have been "modified" more than once. The fog light connectors were held together with duct tape but the harness end connections look stock and were tied up out of the way. Maybe they tried to wire the fog lights in with the headlights? There's awful wiring everywhere haha.
I was surprised that the radio worked, I have no clue where the CD changer is.
I vacuumed and recharged ac which will be a must. Passed leak test but added dye pag oil so will see how that goes.
Steering box might be leaking, cleaned off all oil/fluids to see where leaks coming from.
Front drive shaft both front u joints clacking.
Hoping I can find someone to trade wheels with or has 5 16in rims, this one has 18in.
Need to add 3rd row as well.
Only off road plans will be trips to our place on Corolla Beach, it's 9.9 miles in sand after the pavement ends. We outgrew the geo tracker, which is a monster in the sand.
Included a few photos of what I found so far
One of many systems I found jammed behind headlight
Similar "splices" all over this truck haha
Ground nuts missing
Not sure what this box is yet
I've seen many things jammed into battery terminals to make them fit but this one cracked me up
I almost don't want to fix this hahaha

Sweet, looks like your dash is ready for a double-din head unit! So sorry that your truck was previously owned by a 17 year old tinkerer but at least its rust-free and hasn't burned to the ground from all the sketchy mods!

U joints on way for the front drive shaft, but now won't be here til Monday. So I took off all the door panels to see what's going on with 3 out of 4 windows inop and also covered in duct tape residue.
Took off RF panel and was greeted with a familiar sight: a bunch of wood at the bottom of the door cavity from past attempts to keep it closed hahahaha.
The right rear window I was actually kind of nervous as the regulator had flipped sideways and was jammed between the inner wiper/sill and the glass itself. I didn't rely on safety squints for this. Luckily got it apart and no shattered glass!
Left rear had a bunch of rusty metal slivers in bottom of door cavity and once I got regulator out I saw the part of the regulator that mounts to the glass is rusted and falling apart!
Right front wood pieces
Right rear, regulator flipped and jammed between glass and door, holding up glass 😬

The other day I took out the driveshaft and found it was the center bearing that had fallen apart, not a u joint. So today I took it all apart and did the center bearing and u joints (might as well since I bought them!).
Also cleaned and lubed the expandable part. Thanks to the million threads here regarding the rebuild, it went smooth.
Center bearing race didn't want to come out but some of the tricks posted here got it out within a few min.
The front regulators got here also today, rear ones I ordered from rovah but don't think they've shipped out yet. I'm from Massachusetts so I liked the New England theme of their business. Hopefully they're still an up and running website and they ship out this week.
