I solved the P0441 error yesterday, new Bosch purge valve. Runs better, particularly at cold start idle. Hopefully this will solve the intermittent cat damaging misfires P1300 as well. We'll see.

I also pulled the windshield trim in prep for the Safelite visit on the books for Wed. I was as careful as I could be, and following the videos I had watched still managed to rip off a couple of tabs from one of the A Pillar covers. I'll have to see I can secure it well enough to not have to replace it. The fingers are crossed.

You were as careful as could be and you still broke a few tabs. Imagine how many the Safelite technician (who is under the gun for time) would have broken. Like you, I would do my own accessing every time.

Not as big of a deal as it was a few years back. The market has finally started producing replacement parts, for cheap. Even the cowl can be had for about $100 now, wasn't that way about 2 years ago, lol.

Here's an example of just one link on eBay for A pillar moldings....there's LOTS of them

Loctite PL3X construction adhesive is very good adhesive for plastic. Flame treat it first. Or maybe use 3m doubleside body panel tape.

Safelight actually did mine without breaking any tabs. I was very impressed!

was a slow summer but we’re making up for it this fall, still a few lingering maintenance items to wrap up on the white one and classic but they are close

YETIX, how do you know they didn’t break anything and just glue it back together?

I was watching them since they were right outside my office window. The driver's side one was brand new too. I honestly expected them to break something and was very surprised he didn't. I asked him about it and he said he's done several Discos
