I have the same truck as you, pictured above. Assuming those are 18-in rims, can you tell me what tire size you ended up going with? I had a 2-in lift installed and I'm trying to find out how far I can go on an 18-in rim. I like the look of yours, exactly. Could you share the tire size with me? Thanks
Both had been sitting for several months, dropped a battery in each...both fired right up. Funny, my wife's, which was been sitting the longest still smelled nice inside (air freshener was working great after nearly two years.
Sure liked it better when they both looked like this...
Pisser is...the 03 will be the one that gets whole again, hopefully, but lacks CDL and was an 8...while (in my opinion) the 04 was a 10.
Oh well, such is life...

no lift on this truck. Just stock springs and struts. The tires are KO2s at 265/60/18. No rubbing with them.
Thanks for reaching out. In your opinion, is there any reason why I couldn't go 285/60/18? Nobody wants to recommend any other size, other than the one stamped on the door jamb. Again, thanks for your help

I don’t see why you couldn’t provided they work with the lift.
Those would be too big on my truck with the stock suspension but it must work with your 2”lift.

I run 285/70r18 with a 2" lift. They slightly rub the plastic trim at the bottom of the wheel arch when fully turned. Previously I ran 275/70r18 with no rubbing.
Doing some maintenance and changing diff/TC oil on the D2 after the Hill Country Rover Rally. The oil was as black as can be with nice metal goo plug on the magnet. Good thing I'm swapping in a new third member with an e-locker.
Also noticed this rubber collar/sleeve on the front driveshaft is split open and needs replacement. I think I damaged it when I greased all the zerk fittings before wheeling a couple weeks ago. Anyone know what its called or the part number because shaft condom isn't pulling anything up that is remotely what I need. Is this part even necessary?
Today I just did the same thing I do once or twice a week: I drove her to work. It always amazes me how competent on the road my Disco is for having two solid axels.
I have done this a few times, using the 3M drill sanding kit. polished with Mcquires plastic polish and sealed with clear. took about 20 minutes plus the clear spraying time. I wonder if using Cerakote would be a better sealant.

How long does this last? My son's car's headlights need attention.
