We bought a 2000 Disco II years ago used and it has been amazing on and off the road. This spring we discovered the battery dead and replaced it. All good except that the immoblizer circuit has enabled and we have no code in the owners manual or thick book that came with this mountain goat. Can anyone help. I know how to enter the code for watching youtubes. Just need to know where or how to obtain that info.

I got the same one. Mine was a bear to get on. Look out for rust! I think I'll take it back off and fix the stupid wings that should be flat but stick up preventing the plastic trim from fitting correctly. Good point is I wont crack this one
I bought a very similar one, but with four separate reverse lights, make a huge difference at night. Mine was twisted a bit at the ends, I need to put a jack under it to straighten it out. Also I need to grind the mounting holes larger so that it can slide closer to the truck. The rubber sill cover barely covers the gap between the truck and the bumper. But like you said for $250 its okay. I have had mine a year or so and the junctions are starting to get a bit rusty. I have been hitting them with rustoleum until I can get it done correctly.
Cracked my second rear bumper, went with low price eBay metal option. Looks pretty decent quality, little end caps took some trimming to fit right
Well huggi, you inspired me to fix my bumper. I put it on last year and have just lived with it like it was, ugly without the trim caps. I got busy and took care of it. Much better. I cut a pie shaped piece out, hammered down the top and welded it back up. Primer and some bed liner and we're back together correctly.
Took the Discovery to the All British Field Meet Portland Oregon alongside many marques of other Landrovers and British cars - great day out and met/caught up with other owners from the Pacific NW -
I tackled my Three Amigos, again apparently. I swore I had done the Option B previously, but was still getting the fault very intermittently. I dug into it today and found the weirdest situation. There a circle connector that I used to ground the shuttle valve in previous vehicles, it was there, but no wire was connected. When I pulled back the wiring loom the yellow wire was cut and spliced back together with a butt connector. The shuttle valve itself was intact. But there was literally zero insulation on the wires. bizarre that I did not have the three amigos all the time. I wrapped it up and performed the option b and will will see how it goes. I may just need to buy a new valve.
Most bizarre experience, almost like someone replaced my shuttle valve with out me knowing. I cannot imagine un-doing the option b on purpose.
