Was there alot of brake dust and or dirt / grime up in there? Did you put some brake lube on during reassembly? that will quiet things down too. Did you notice any signs of water on the calipers. They can seize up or stick to the rotor sometimes, but you would probably smell that and see smoke if it was extreme.

Well, I live on a dirt road, so yes to dirt! Yes, used lube when reassembling, no sign of water on the calipers, but I was getting slight smell the last couple days. Hopefully it is resolved now!
