Default Where to buy MAF?

I may have cost myself a MAF sensor on my 96 disco. Where can you find good used ones? What other years work on this? Can you use one from a Range Rover and if so what year model?

I changed plugs, wires, and ...... tried to clean the MAF. Its not running good now. The check engine light is now on and its missing at idle and has no power. I thought the plugs may have been bad so I put the old ones back on. No luck. I took the MAF off again and cleaned it again. Now its idling at 2000rpm. I feel that the MAF is gone.

Check all of your vacuum lines and make sure that you plugged the MAF back in and that it is seated correctly.
There is a vacuum line at the throttle body that you need to remove the remove the air intake tube and it is very easy to forget to hook it back up.

Which vaccum line are you talking about? I dont remember having to remove one. I know i plugged back in the MAF and the wire going to the airbox. I dont remember having to work around a vaccum line.

In the third pic you can see a square connector, that is a vacuum line, it is easily knocked off.
If it is loose/off the truck will either idle really high or just run very rough.
If you were twisting, unhooking, hooking things it is a easy one to miss.

Its not that hose. Its connected. I think I have air seeping from the head gasket. Its been making a hissing noise since I got it. I just found it tonight. Is on the driver side under the second spark plug from the front. I put a flash light on it while it was running and could see small little bubbles.

So my engine is now idling at 1500 RPM. It was around 700 before I messed with the mass air flow meter. All vaccum lines are connected. I think I am going to try a used MAF from a salvage yard tomorrow. Any other ideas?

I guess head gaskets are on the list.
