Default 2002 Discovery II will crank but not turn over:/

i have a 2002 Land Rover Discovery II. Background, bought the car last year. never had issues starting until 3 weeks ago. it started taking longer to turn over. finally it seemed like the battery died. went to open the hood and there was a ton of blue spooge coming from the battery.so the i thought it was the battery giving me the issue.. cleaned terminals, got a new battery and tried my luck at that. no dice. took forever to turn over. even longer than before. but it would turn over.

Now, it doesnt turn over unless i mash the gas a lil with cranking it. One of my friends had the same issue and said to clean out the idle air control valve because they can get stuck and gunked up. that didnt work either...when i get it to turn over. it sounds normal and drives normal. but its a pain in the butt to start it this way evertime. need the fix. thanks ladies and gents!

side note:
I had codes:
-p1300: ?z???
-P0134: O2 sensor circuit no activity
-p0442-small leak in evaporative emmisions system
-p0308: cylinder 8 misfire
-p0302: cylinder 2 misfire

I had a problem once, where it was randomly starting, also it shut down while driving, and it turned out to be the Crankshaft Position sensor. Oil had leaked into it and was messing with the signal for the engine firing. It is easy to take out.
At first, I though the fuel line was blocked, since it was starting up and then shutting down.

X2 on the crank sensor. Does your scanner have live data? Check the tooth count.
