Hi guys just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the emirates key emulator fix it is not a permanent fix. I am going on my 3rd time replacing this emulator steering column lock keeps happening it is a temporary fix. I have replaced starter new battery and 400$ key fob reprogrammed and still saying steering column lock this is a volks wagon part on the land rover lr2 HSE, I did find that out and I work for Ford port Richey Florida, the fuse box where the clicking comes from is where the steering column lock fuse is, replaced fuse and still stating steering column lock this should be a recall and land rover should be ashamed of not doing this. On the fuse box by the way, under the glove box passenger side has Ford on the fuse box. Very confusing with Volks Wagon and Ford parts. My vehicle only had 80K MILES when purchased. I have driven it for 3 months out the 1 yr I've owned it. Never again will I purchase Land Rover hard lesson learned and No Ford does not work on these vehicles have to go to Land Rover dealership.
