that could be. I replaced it last winter. I looked at all the wiring, seemed ok, but could be a bad valve block. It happened less before I changed it

Often times replacing the block doesn't change anything if the contacts are still corroded.

one more thing to add. I recently got new tires on it and for 3 days I had no faults. Could that possibly be the height sensors?

Did you ever figure this out? I’m having the same issue with C1A18-64 fault coming back after replacing the compressor (AMK), servicing the center block (new O rings), and reflashing ECU. I was jazzed when the fault went away for 2 weeks but it came back! Maybe I’ll try cleaning electrical connectors or replacing the center block altogether.
