Well, I found this thread...
https://landroverforums.com/forum/lr...tration-92905/

It finally convinced me to just break down and buy the Gap IIDTool. I ordered it from Lucky8 on eBay with a key. This thing had better be really good and sort out this calibration issue. I now have $1300 invested into this 2007 LR3. At least I only paid $2500 for it with the current issues. I love driving the truck. I've been pulling out the F26 fuse so that I can drive it around.

Sorry I didn't listen to you guys earlier.

Maybe there is a way to use this RSW solution 4Dcan to stop throwing the code, but I am at a loss. Granted it does work to adjust it to a ride height, but it does not satisfy the computer enough to not throw a code.

Oh well, you live and you learn.

I will keep you guys updated about how the Gap tool works for me. Fingers crossed, I think it will go well.

Yes please update us. I'm also curious as to how your calibration was lost in the first place. Are there any physical signs of malfunction? Wires, bent brackets where the height sensors are mounted? Anything like that? Be patient with the calibration process when you get the IIDTool. Sounds like the guided calibration is pretty great when it's easy but if you're out of the normal parameters you may have to do it manually and it may take a few iterations.

I finally fixed it!
the problem was a simple bent bracket! When I replaced the sensor I didn’t really think about it.
so I fixesed the bracket. Reset all the calibration I had done and recalibrated. The RSW tool worked great when I had the bracket fixed.

I can go 70 on the highway and no more codes or deflation.

Thank you everyone!!!

Hey programming a key is a win! You made your money back right there. Calling it "fishy" isn't a call-out directed at you; I'm sure it says that, the Foxwell does too. If you haven't actually done it, then that **** is just words.

Anyway....rant over.
I wasn't taking the fishy part personally. Just redirecting it towards companies that I think are price gouging us frankly. Just my opinion on that. I do appreciate you addressing it though to be sure I didn't take in wrong!

Today I re-calibrated with it, worked great. I think? I didn't make a major change, just leveled it out better and added 10mm, barely noteworthy. It does save logs of all changes and files that you can recall I suppose. I didn't save it as a new lowered position or new raised position, I just did a recal of my normal ride height, which you could lie about of course to raise or lower them all together. Perhaps I should have tried to do it another way but I was just playing around having fun with it. I didn't track much in the way of changes but it appears at the moment to be leveled out better and I believe it included the small 10mm lift, which is just under a half inch, slightly hard to confirm because it's so minor.

Yet, I was wondering if the TPMS or my tires/rims I have on it could be an issue that is giving me suspension problems. The guy who sold the truck to me said he put these new tires on it and stock Land Rover rims on it off of another Land Rover. The tire size is 255/55 r19. Just a thought anyway...

I tried to fix mine in my scanner tool and it seemed to be already fixed...... that's when I realized the spare tire sensor is included in the sensor pool data.

Here's some screenshots I saved for folks to look at this tool if they're interested. Hell it's amazon prime with free returns.....no risk.

Lot of photos......
