I finally got some felt, got some new beads and put everything together. Runs. But then faults. I’m wondering if the felt is just too much and can’t push air past. I am assuming that the dryer is the air that passes on to the system rather than the other two hoses at the back? Should I try running with only desiccant and no felt filters?

As long as the felt was the same thickness/density it should be ok, i wouldn't run without it or you'll being doing it again soon.
This would suggest a leak -

Yah, that does indeed suggest a leak or poor compressor performance. Did you happen to check the dryer cap for a crack between where the two lines connect?

Seems to run without error now.

I unpacked the felt and reused the pieces that were not totally perished. Plugged back in and seems to be ok. Runs like my old lr3…perhaps I have bought myself another year or so…who knows.
