I have never checked the amount of fluid I drain versus fill up with the conversion. But, I do believe its the same amount if not more fluid based on the physical dimensions. The plastic pan has cooling vent fins that are approx 1/8-1/4" and these butt up to the metal cage that holds the heat shield.

The metal pan butts directly up to the cage and has no fins. Just based on this observation I would say it holds as much if not more.

Default New Trans service kit

Atlantic British is getting a shipment of a new design as separate filter from the pan so now you can take the old plastic pan down a little, cut the filter tube off and put a new separate filter in with the new pan and eliminate all that other labor stuff. I don't expect to do mine till the parts come in obviously, within the next month. So that is great news!!
